Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, has called on Northern leaders to throw their weight behind President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
Speaking during a meeting with the Northern Caucus of the National Forum of Former Legislators in Abuja Gbajabiamila said Tinubu had demonstrated inclusive leadership and deserved another term to consolidate on ongoing reforms.
emphasized that the President has carried every region along, with infrastructure, agriculture, and economic policies that have particularly benefited Northern communities
According to him, supporting Tinubu’s second term would uphold the principle of rotational leadership and ensure continuity in governance.
The Northern Caucus responded by endorsing Tinubu’s 2027 ambition, stating it was in the region’s best interest to support the continuation of the southern presidency.
