303,955 PVCS UNCOLLECTED IN ONDO

Total of 303,955 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) are yet to be collected in Ondo State.This is out of a total of 1,991,344 registered voters in the state.

Administrative Secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ondo State, Mr Oyelami Oyekola Oludayo, who disclosed this at a stakeholders meeting in Akure, said 1,687,389, voters have collected their PVCs.

Oludayo said the electoral body was committed to the conduct of free and credible elections for sustainable democracy in the country.

According to him,  the consequences of failure were too grave to contemplate.
