The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has donated N50 million naira to victims of flood in Jigawa State.
Atiku made the donation when he visited the Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi in his palace on Friday night.
Atiku said the reason for his visit was to sympathise with the state and the victims of the flood based on the devastation brought on the state by the incidence.
Atiku, who also visited the palace of the Emir of Hadejia for the same purpose, promised to come back for the second round of his campaign as a presidential candidate in the 2023 general election.
He disclosed further that Dutse and Jigawa state is his home and that he will come at any time he wishes to.
