There is an ongoing protest by commercial drivers in Lagos state over alleged extortion by officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority and Taskforce, LASTMA.
Many of the commuters were seen at various bus stops stranded as the drivers continue their protest.
VOP News gathered that the commercial drivers embarked on the strike to protest extortion.
Our correspondent who monitored the event observed that commuters are stranded at various bus stops and motor parks due to the low turnout of commercial vehicles in Lagos state.
