On his first full day as Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak will meet his new cabinet this morning before facing opposition leader Sir Keir Starmer in PMQs at midday.

Sunak has pledged to govern with “integrity” and has included people from different wings of the party in his top team

But Labour have criticised the decision to reappoint Suella Braverman, popular on the Tory right, as home secretary just six days after she resigned over data breaches.

Several people from Liz Truss’s cabinet remain, such as Jeremy Hunt as chancellor and James Cleverly as foreign secretary.

And key figures in Boris Johnson’s government, including Michael Gove and Dominic Raab, have also returned to cabinet roles.
