A top official of the Nigeria Correctional Service who spoke said that the terrorists who bombed the facility attempted to gain entry into Kyari’s cell, but could not.

A group of terrorists, last night, attacked the prison in Abuja, the nation’s capital, with bombs and other high calibre arms.

But reacting to the attack in a series of tweets on his Twitter handle today the former Vice President noted the missing regime of law and order in the country was emboldening the terrorists.
