Activist SeaKing Fires Back After President Tinubu Challenges Nigerian Youths to Confront Him with Their Problems

Nigerian activist Seaking has publicly challenged President Bola Tinubu after the president urged youths to “look him in the face” and voice their concerns.

During the inauguration of the National Youth Congress Planning Committee at the State House in Abuja on Monday, March 10, Tinubu assured young Nigerians that their grievances would be addressed, stating:

Look at me in the face, tell me whatever you think is wrong and the way you want things done. We’ll try to implement all of it as long as it is for the prosperity of this country.

However, Seaking was quick to respond in a fiery TikTok video, listing key issues plaguing Nigerian youths. Topping his list was the removal of fuel subsidies, which he claimed had worsened economic hardships.

We don’t have 24-hour electricity, our roads are terrible… and the most annoying part is that you came in, increased fuel prices, and still told us you removed the subsidy. That is the wrongest move!

His reaction reflects the growing frustration among Nigerians who continue to grapple with economic challenges under Tinubu’s administration. Will the government heed these concerns, or is this just another political rhetoric?
