Air Peace, a leading airline operator, has officially commenced transit flights through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, connecting passengers to various regional and international cities.

This was revealed in a statement issued on Thursday by the operator.

Air Peace stated that it has created the first Transit Hub in Nigeria at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos in conjunction with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN.

The release explained that now, passengers from other countries can fly Air Peace to international and regional destinations through converging in Lagos from where they are flown to those destinations seamlessly without leaving the airport.

Air Peace underscored its commitment to continuous innovation in-flight service delivery, aiming to provide customers with an exceptional experience at every touchpoint.

The airline affirms that strategic connectivity across key domestic, regional, and international cities remains a central component of its ambitious plans.

The airline also hinted that preparations are well underway for the official launch of the UK destination, following the successful commencement of direct flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in October 2023
