Anambra Innovation Week 2024 -Advancing the Anambra Innovation Agenda/Vop

We made history with Anambra Innovation Week 2024 (AIW 2024), held from November 25th to 29th. Under the visionary leadership of Mr Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, the #AIW2024 with the “Creating the Future of Africa Now”, AIW brought together startups, SMEs, students, policymakers, tech ecosystem stakeholders and global leaders to drive innovation and digital transformation in Anambra State.

The highlight of the week was the official launch of the 1 Million Anambra Digital Tribe by Governor Soludo – a bold initiative to equip one million persons in Anambra with digital skills, connecting them to opportunities in the global digital economy. This marks a pivotal step toward building a resilient, tech-driven future for our state.

Key Highlights and Impact of AIW2024:

✅ Youth Empowerment: From career conferences to workshops and hackathons, our youths gained critical digital skills and hands-on experiences to position themselves as problem-solvers and innovators.
✅ SME and Government Transformation: Tailored sessions focused on leveraging digital tools to drive transparency, service delivery, and economic growth.
✅ Startup Acceleration: The Battle4Solutions competition, with a ₦100 million prize pool, showcased and supported scalable, tech-driven solutions to real-world challenges.
✅ Policy and Partnerships: AIW provided a platform to advance initiatives like the Anambra Angel Network and launch programs aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
