The eight-member panel set up by Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State to investigate the controversies surrounding the results claimed by a candidate in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), Mmesoma Ejikeme, has submitted its report.
Headed by Nkemdili Nnonyelu, a professor, the committee confirmed Miss Mmesoma forged the score of 362 as earlier claimed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB.
The chief press secretary to the Governor, Christian Aburime confirmed the authenticity of the report.
In the report, the panel indicted the 19-old girl, stating that she forged her result, unaided.
The panel consisting of professors and ICT experts recommended that the student tender an unreserved written apology to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the School (Anglican Girls’ Secondary School, Uruagu Nnewi), and the Anambra State Government.
