The Anambra State Government, through the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information and the Anambra State ICT Agency, has trained representatives from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) on the use of the SolutionLens digital platform. The training comes ahead of the platform’s official launch, scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
SolutionLens is a digital innovation aimed at enhancing citizen engagement by providing a direct communication channel between the government and the people. It is designed to promote transparency, accountability, and accessibility in governance.
Speaking on the initiative, the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, described SolutionLens as a transformative tool that will strengthen interactions between the government and citizens. She emphasized the importance of equipping MDAs with the necessary skills to effectively utilize the platform for improved service delivery.
The Managing Director of the Anambra State ICT Agency, Mr. Fred Agbata, also highlighted the significance of SolutionLens in fostering efficient information management and citizen engagement. He stated that the training was crucial to ensuring seamless adoption and usage of the platform by government agencies.
The Anambra State Government continues to prioritize digital transformation efforts to enhance governance and public service efficiency, with SolutionLens expected to play a key role in achieving these objectives.
