The Chairman of Anambra West Local Government Area, Hon. Fidelis Nnazor, has praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s transformative initiatives in the education sector, describing them as exemplary and worthy of emulation by any forward-thinking government.
In an interview with the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), Nnazor highlighted the governor’s free education policy from primary to senior secondary school, calling it an unprecedented move in Nigeria’s history. He emphasized that the initiative has significantly alleviated the financial burden on parents, ensuring that every child has access to quality education.
Hon. Nnazor reaffirmed his commitment to implementing all policies and programs of the Soludo administration at the local government level. He also pledged to provide scholarships to pupils and students in Anambra West as additional support for the state government’s free education policy.
The council chairman’s remarks underscore the widespread appreciation for Soludo’s education reforms, which have been lauded as a major step towards improving literacy and educational standards in Anambra State.
