scores were injured in Sokoto state when supporters of the All Progressives Congress APC and that of Peoples Democratic Party PDP clashed on Wednesday during the governorship debate in the state.
The participating candidates were APC, PDP, New Nigeria Peoples Party, Action Democratic Party, Social Democratic Party as well as that of Labour Party, who reeled out their manifestoes to the people.
A supporter of APC who spoke on condition of anonymity blamed the moderator, accusing him of being responsible for the crisis, saying he favoured the PDP.
He explained that in an atmosphere where there are many political parties, one should not give opportunity to only one person to ask questions.
