The All Progressives Congress APC setting up a reconciliation committee to meet with aggrieved presidential candidates of other political parties who contested in last Saturday’s presidential election.
According to the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, the committee is to resolve their displeasure and ensure all parties involved work together with the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the growth of Nigeria.
The Independent National Electoral Commission had on Wednesday declared Tinubu winner of the February 25 presidential election and issued hima certificate of return.
Governor Akeredolu disclosed this in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, on Wednesday.
He noted that the committee will start the healing process by appealing to them so that allcan work together.
He appreciated the residents of the state for their support in the election and commended them for voting for the candidate of the party.
He described the support as an attestation and love the people of the state have for his administration.
