The All Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship candidate in Cross River Senator Bassey Edet Otu has been declared the winner of Saturday’s Governorship poll in the State.
Cross Rivers Returning Officer, Prof. Teedy Charles declared the APC candidate scored 258,617 to defeat ten other candidates in the State.
The closest contender, Senator Sandy Onor came second with 179, 636 votes.
Out of the 18 local government areas, the APC won in 15 leaving the PDP with three.
