Former Super Eagles and Chelsea star Mikel Obi has thrown a major doubt over Arsenal’s Premier League title ambitions, insisting that Mikel Arteta is not the man to lead the Gunners to glory.

Obi One Podcast, the ex-midfielder acknowledged Arteta’s impact in improving Arsenal but dismissed their chances of winning the EPL or Champions League under his management.
“Yes, Arteta has improved Arsenal, but can he take them to the next level? I don’t see that happening,” Mikel stated. “Arsenal shouldn’t just be competing; they need to win. It’s been over 20 years since they last lifted the trophy, and fans need to stop settling for ‘competing.’”
