The meeting of the National Executive Council of the Academic Staff Union of Universities will hold overnight in Abuja.
The meeting which is a meeting of the leadership of the union was convened to allow the leadership of the union take the final decision on the protracted strike.
Speaking with correspondents in Abuja, a top source said, and Quote “We will have a meeting today and it will last overnight so that we will be given enough time to deliberate and make a conclusion.”
ASUU had demanded for the renegotiation of the ASUU-FG 2009 agreement, release of revitalisation fund for universities, release of earned academic allowances among others.
