The Academic Staff Union of University, finally suspending the strike it embarked on in February 14, 2022.
The union ended the strike following intense negotiation with the government, especially talks led by the House of Representatives under the leadership of Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila, its Speaker.
Though the union is yet to make an official pronouncement, VOP news gathered that the decision was taken at the end of the National Executive Council meeting which was held at the ASUU secretariat in Abuja.
