ASUU PRESIDENT, OSODEKE REVEALS DECISION MANY LECTURERS WILL TAKE AFTER STRIKE

Emmanuel Osodeke, president of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has attributed the main reason lecturers decided to resume teaching was because of a court order asking them to do so.

You will recall, ASUU had been on strike since February 14 to press home the demand for improved funding for universities, a review of salaries for lecturers, among other issues.

Speaking on Sunday when he featured on a monitored Television Programme “politics Today” OSODEKE disclosed his hope that the government will do the needful now the strike has been suspended.
