Four persons including a village head have been killed by bandits who invaded Tunga Rafin, a community in Augie Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
VOP news gatnered that, the bandits numbering over 70 invaded the remote village on Wednesday night, killing the village head identified as Abubakar Magaji (Sabo Rafi) and one other person.
The bandits also killed two other persons they encountered on the way as they fled the community.
A member of the community, who also spoke to correspondents on condition of anonymity, said the bandits also abducted the wife and child of the village head after slaughtering him.
He said it was the first time bandits attacked the village even though other neighbouring communities had suffered attacks many times in recent past.
