Ben Bruce Commends FG For Setting Up Electric Vehicle Charging Station In Enugu
I am excited to see the Federal Government’s inauguration of solar-powered electric vehicle charging stations at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). This visionary step resonates deeply with what I have passionately advocated for.
While my earnest attempts to champion such initiatives through legislation were met with resistance in the past, the winds of change have since gathered momentum. Today, we stand at a transformative crossroads, recognizing the imminent necessity of pivoting away from fossil fuels and embracing clean, renewable sources of energy. The forward-thinking leadership shown by the National Automative Design and Development Council (NADDC) is both commendable and essential for ensuring a sustainable future for Nigeria.
To see our esteemed educational institutions actively partaking in this change, not just as passive spectators but as beacons of innovation and research, warms the heart. I have always believed in the power of sustainable technology, and it is heartening to see these ideas coming to fruition.
I commend the Federal Government and all the visionaries involved in bringing this initiative to life. Indeed, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and today, Nigeria is taking giant strides in the right direction. It is my fervent hope that we continue to tread this path, drawing inspiration from today’s achievements and always striving for a brighter, greener tomorrow.
