Bobrisky Finally Jets Out Of Nigeria

Controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has reportedly departed Nigeria just days after being released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Although he did not disclose his exact destination, Bobrisky shared a series of videos on his Instagram story on Monday morning, boasting about travelling on a first-class ticket.

“See you soon, Nigeria. This girl bought a first-class ticket three times; that’s over 30 million. Raise the bar for this girl, That passport disfigured my picture,” he declared.

His departure follows a tumultuous week that saw him removed from an Amsterdam-bound KLM flight at Murtala Muhammed International Airport while attempting to travel to London last Thursday.

Following the incident, he claimed to have sustained injuries and quickly informed his social media followers.

After the altercation, Bobrisky was taken to the EFCC headquarters in Abuja for questioning concerning allegations that he had paid a bribe of N15 million to officials in order to dismiss money laundering charges against him.

He was eventually released on bail on Saturday after he reportedly denied the bribery claims in a confessional statement at the EFCC.

Bobrisky’s legal troubles began in April 2024, when he was sentenced to six months in prison for naira abuse.

The cross-dresser’s controversies intensified when activist VeryDarkMan shared an audio recording in which Bobrisky allegedly confessed to paying EFCC officials to dismiss the charges against him.

Bobrisky has since denied the authenticity of the recording and threatened legal action against VeryDarkMan.

Additionally, he was recently arrested at the Seme border for allegedly attempting to flee the country.
