In the early hours of Monday morning, four people have been injured when a private vehicle fell of Otedola Bridge, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
It is still unclear if there were any fatalities among the occupants, though all four were confirmed to have sustained injuries.
While Emergency responders are yet to arrive at the scene, bystanders and first responders were actively working to rescue passengers trapped in the crushed vehicle.
This incident follows closely on the heels of a recent tragedy at the same spot, where a gas-laden truck lost control and exploded, claiming the lives of at least six people.
The latest accident has sparked confusion in the area, leading to a rapid buildup of traffic as drivers slow down when nearing the scene.
