The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has killed more than 15 terrorists in precision strikes on a newly discovered hideout west of Zuwa in the Sambisa general area of Borno State.

NAF spokesperson, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja, noting that the operation was conducted a day earlier under Operation Hadin Kai.

He said the air interdiction followed credible intelligence and confirmatory surveillance, which showed the enclave was sheltering fighters and commanders linked to recent attacks around Bitta.

“The strikes destroyed key structures and inflicted significant losses on the terrorists,” Ejodame said, adding that the operation underscored NAF’s professionalism and commitment to supporting ground troops and protecting Nigerians.

He stressed that every successful mission brought the country closer to dismantling terrorist networks and securing lasting peace.
