Cabal in Presidency Planning to Overthrow Democracy – PDP Alleges

The All Progressives Congress, APC has reacted to claims from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, alleging that a cabal in the presidency is trying to subjugate the democratic rights of Nigerians.

You will recall that on Thursday, the national chairman of the PDP, Umar Damagum claimed that the alleged cabal was trying to cripple democracy, overthrow the democratic rights of Nigerians and suppress the rule of law.

However, reacting in a statement, APC’s publicity secretary, Felix Morka, said, “PDP’s hallucinations about one-party state is understandable only in the context of its unrealized plan to rule Nigeria for 60 years but now seeks to taint APC with its own scripted crude, intolerant, unpatriotic and anti-democratic zealotry.”

The APC insisted that the PDP is simply coming up with different concoctions due to its loss in the February presidential polls.

The ruling party subsequently advised the opposition to stop blaming others for its loss and look inwards so it can reinvent itself.
