The Catholic Diocese of Abakaliki joyfully celebrated the ordination of six new deacons, in addition to the five already ordained earlier this year, along with the installation of 24 acolytes and four lectors. The ceremonies were a testament to the diocese’s commitment to nurturing vocations and supporting the growth of the Church.
8The newly ordained deacons have embraced their call to serve God’s people with humility, dedication, and love. Meanwhile, the acolytes and lectors have undertaken essential roles in assisting at the altar and proclaiming the Word of God during liturgical celebrations.
