The Chicago State University (CSU) has affirmed the validity of the diploma certificate presented to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by President Bola Tinubu.
The institution in an affidavit confirmed the diploma certificate and the certified true copy of the diploma as valid.
CSU, in an affidavit it presented to the court in Chicago, said: ” Chicago State University provided a Diploma to Bola Ahmed Tinubu and subsequently provided a certified copy of that Diploma. Both are valid and authentic Diplomas of the Chicago State University.”
Monday Ubani, a former chairman, Section of Public Interest and Development Law (SPIDEL), Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), has said it would be difficult for the Supreme Court to admit fresh evidence in the appeal of the judgement of the presidential election petition tribunal (PEPT). Ubani said it would take a lot from Atiku Abubakar’s legal team to convince the Supreme Court to admit fresh evidence in the appeal of the election tribunal’s verdict.
