The High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Maitama has issued an order restraining the National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure and three senior officials of the party from further parading themselves in their official capacities.
Justice Hamza Muazu, in a ruling today, held that the restraining order made ex-parte shall subsist pending the hearing and determination of a pending motion on notice.
The ruling was on a motion ex-parte filed by some aggrieved members of the party including the party’s Publicity Secretary, Abayomi Arabambi, challenging the continued stay in office of the defendants over allegations of corruption.
Justice Muazu issued the order after listening to the plaintiffs’ lawyer, James Onoja.
