The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Tony Okocha, has issued a fiery ultimatum to Governor Siminalayi Fubara, demanding his resignation or face impeachment.
Okocha, speaking at a news briefing in Port Harcourt on Monday, dismissed Fubara’s invitation to the 27 lawmakers as a “Greek gift,” warning that the governor has crossed the line by allegedly disrespecting President Bola Tinubu and violating the rule of law.
“The Supreme Court judgment is final; there is nothing anybody can do about it. The only option left for the governor is to resign or be impeached,” Okocha declared, setting the stage for a fresh political showdown in the state.
