Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has objected to the admissibility of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, (BVAS) reports tendered by the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Ovie Omo-Agege at the state governorship election petition tribunal.
The APC is challenging Oborevwori’s declaration by INEC as winner of the March 18 gubernatorial election in the state.
Kenneth Omoruan, holding the brief of the petitioner’s counsel at the tribunal, tendered BVAS reports for the March 18 governorship and March 19 supplementary elections, certificates of compliance with BVAS as well as 111 voters’ registers.
Counsel for the Governor and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP objected to the admissibility of all the documents tendered except form EC8E which has to do with the declaration by INEC.
They, however, said they reserved their detailed objection till their final written addresses.
