President Donald Trump has signed a proclamation reinstating a travel ban on nationals from 12 countries, citing national security concerns. The ban fully bars individuals from these countries from entering the United States.
The countries subject to the full travel ban are:

Afghanistan

Burma (Myanmar)

Chad
-
Republic of the Congo
-
Equatorial Guinea
-
Eritrea
-
Haiti
-
Iran
-
Libya
-
Somalia
-
Sudan
-
Yemen
In addition to the full ban, the proclamation introduces partial travel restrictions on nationals from seven additional countries:

Burundi

Cuba
-
Laos
-
Sierra Leone
-
Togo
-
Turkmenistan
-
Venezuela
These partial restrictions apply to both immigrants and nonimmigrants. However, certain individuals may be exempt, including lawful permanent residents, current visa holders, and those whose entry is determined to be in the national interest of the United States.
