Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has debunked claims that he has rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC) alongside Atiku Abubakar’s former running mate and other political figures. He described the reports as “fake news” and stated that legal action will be taken against those spreading the misinformation.
According to( voptv) voice of people ,Contrary to the rumors, El-Rufai recently resigned from the APC, citing a misalignment with the party’s direction. He has since joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and is calling for a broad opposition coalition that includes figures like Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rotimi Amaechi to challenge the APC in the 2027 general elections.
El-Rufai is now aligned with the SDP and advocating for opposition unity, while Atiku remains in the PDP and supports a coalition to take on the ruling party in 2027.
