The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ibrahim Bilal, has finally resigned from office.
This is coming a few weeks after he was impeached by 25 members of the state working committee of the party.
The resignation letter endorsed by the national Vice Chairman Northeast, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, was dated September 13, 2022.
In the letter, Bilal apologised to members of the party over the inconveniences his sudden resignation might cause.
Aggrieved members of the party had passed a vote of no confidence in Bilal, requesting that he should be replaced over alleged misconduct.
