Indigenes of Eti Osa local government in Lagos State have again expressed deep concern over what it described as the marginalization of Eti Osa indigenes in appointments as commissioners into the Lagos State executive council.
Addressing the media over the issue; the president of Eti Osa Heritage Organization-an umbrella body for Eti Osa indigenes; Adewale Sanni also decried a situation where no indigene of Eti Osa Community was appropriate to be appointed in boards, parastatals, agencies or permanent secretaries.
Sanni noted that Eti Osa had very competent professionals in every sphere of life to hold any position in Lagos State.
Adewale Sanni called on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to redress the anomaly in the list of commissioner nominees that had no indigene of Eti-Osa local government.
