A former spokesman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Chuks Ibegbu, has described President Bola Tinubu’s appointments so far as lopsided.

Ibegbu, who stated this in an interview with a national newspaper, reminded Tinubu that he is now the president of all the sections of the country, comprising those who voted for him and those who did not.

The former Ohanaeze spokesman advised the president that his appointments must reflect the nation’s geographical and ethnic diversities.

When reminded that Ohanaeze gave huge support to the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, during the last general election, Ibegbu noted that the Obi project was not an ethnic project, adding that it would have been a calamity if the Igbo apex body had not supported its son.

He lamented that the South East has not produced a president, but since the election was over, they had no reason to be enemies with President Tinubu.
