Today, we celebrate the Feast Day of Blessed Cyprian Iwene Tansi, a Nigerian Catholic priest who devoted his life to the service of God and His people. Beatified by Saint Pope John Paul II on March 22, 1998, Blessed Tansi is revered as the patron saint of Catholic priests in Nigeria. His profound faith, humility, and dedication to prayer and pastoral care continue to inspire countless faithful, especially in the clergy.
