The Federal Government has directed television stations to provide regular coverage of the ongoing Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway project to keep Nigerians informed of its progress.
Minister of Works, Engr.David umahi said the order was part of government’s commitment to transparency and accountability in one of the country’s most ambitious infrastructure projects.
This project is a game changer for Nigeria’s economy and regional connectivity. Nigerians deserve to see the progress being made in real time,” the minister said.
The Lagos–Calabar highway, stretching across several states, is designed to boost trade, tourism, and economic integration, while creating thousands of jobs along its corridor.
