The Federal Government warned politicians and political parties to stop all attempts aimed at disrupting the polls ahead of the March 18 Governorship and House of Assembly elections on Saturday.
The Government made the position following heightened tension over heated politicking ongoing in States where the poll is under hot contest.
The National Security Adviser, Maj-Gen. Babagana Monguno disclosed this on Tuesday in Abuja at the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security meeting.
According to him, security agencies must work against the possibility of what he called “a terrible or apocalyptic” situation in the next few days, before and during the elections.
