The Federal Government disclosed today, that the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos would be closed from midnight on Saturday, October 21, to midnight on Sunday, October 22, to conduct repairs.
In a statement, Olukorede Kesha, the Federal Controller of Works for Lagos State, stated that the government was prepared to commence extensive bridge rehabilitation, beginning with crucial section repairs.
According to Kesha, the federal government wanted the driving public to know it was developing plans to perform extensive repairs on the Third Mainland Bridge. The goal is to commence thorough rehabilitation work on the bridge by repairing its most important sections.
