FLYING EAGLES FOCUSED ON BEATING EGYPT AT ONGOING U-20 AFCON

Flying Eagles defender, Augustine Njoku says the team is firmly focused on earning maximum points against the Young Pharaohs of Egypt.

The West Africans will be in action for a second time today at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The Nigerian boys are bottom of Group A after losing 1-0 to Senegal in their first game in the competition on Sunday.

Facing the host nation will be a tough challenge with the home fans expected to storm the Cairo International Stadium in large numbers.

The centre-back further hinted that the team is keen to secure qualification for the next round.

The game will kick-off today at 6pm Nigerian time.
