Fr Onuchukwu Outlines Reasons/Vop Why Some Prayers Are Unanswered

An Italian based priest Rev Fr Jude Onuchukwu has given reasons why some prayers said by the faithful have remained unanswered even as he acknowledged that prayers by the wicked and unfaithful will never be answered by God.

Preaching a homily on Sunday at the St Joseph Catholic Church,Oguta Road,Onitsha,Fr Onuchukwu said that though life’s difficulties have driven many Christians to all kinds of churches,prayer houses and traditional shrines,lack of faith, divided attention and adherence to God’s commandments are all impediments to attraction of God’s infinite powers and answer to prayers by the faithful.

Many Christians he pointed out,do not give time for God to consider their prayers just as others have failed to open their eyes of faith for the divine presence of God to manifest in their lives.
“God manifests himself to us in different ways.He will fill up the gaps in our lives when we worship Him in truth and faith”,Fr Onuchukwu pointed out.
He further admonished the faithful to pray when they experience life’s turbulence as well as when they are free adding that prayers are not meant only for times of trouble.
Fr Jude also warned those whose faith in the church are not strong accusing them of being a distraction to genuine faithful.He urged them to repent or face the wrath of God.

To the youths,he implored them not to waste their time in criminality and shadow chasing but develop and use their God given skills to improve their lives.According to him,God the father endowed everyone with special talent for self development.
The cleric took some time for special prayer ministration for the sick,charging them to always live lives of prayers inorder to attract the mercy of God.
