Gooddies Nation Hosts Maiden International Conference, Plans Partnership on Regenerative Agriculture/Vop

Awka, Anambra State – Gooddies Nation, a dynamic non-governmental organization, has held its inaugural annual international conference with a commitment to partner with the government on advancing regenerative agriculture nationwide.

The event, which took place in Awka, drew participants from across the country and abroad. It provided a platform for the group to review their achievements, chart new strategies, elect new leadership, honor members with awards, hold a pageant, and offer thanksgiving for a successful 2024 and a promising 2025.

Speaking at the conference, the group’s leader, Mr. Goodness Echem, emphasized their focus on smart farming and their commitment to training and mentoring members and other young individuals. “Our efforts are aimed at equipping young people to maximize their potential and contribute meaningfully to society,” he said.

Mrs. Lucy Nwankwo, Senate President of the association, highlighted its origins in 2021 and its unique rotational leadership structure. She praised the organization’s dedication to alleviating the plight of the vulnerable through individual contributions and its commitment to member development.

During a keynote address, Apostle Buchi Emeka urged young people to use their mobile phones wisely, noting that while phones can be distracting, they also have immense potential for positive use.

Gooddies Nation, with chapters spread across the country, is composed of young individuals pooling resources to invest, develop themselves, and support the less privileged. Their innovative approach to collaboration and commitment to societal betterment sets them apart as a force for positive change in Nigeria.
