Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has named Oba Ismail Yahya Alebiosu, the Olupo of Ajase-Ipo and Chancellor of the State University of Education, as the Amirul Hajj (leader) of the state delegation for the 2025 Hajj.
The appointment, which was announced on [insert date], underscores the Governor’s commitment to ensuring the smooth and organized participation of Kwara’s Muslim pilgrims in the upcoming Hajj.
In addition to the Hajj leadership role, the Governor has appointed Alhaji Lateef Oloyin as the new Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the Governor.
Oloyin, a seasoned political ally of Abdulrazaq, brings extensive experience in boardroom management, community leadership, and grassroots politics to the position.
Previously serving as the chairman of the Kwara State Social Investment Programme, Oloyin holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, and a Higher National Diploma in Banking and Finance from Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin. He is also specialized in advanced economics, taxation, and organizational behavior and management.
Additionally, Professor Sheu Raheem Adaramaja has been reappointed as the chairman of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB). Under his leadership, the Governor’s administration has overseen transformative reforms and remarkable infrastructural developments across the state’s basic education institutions.
