Ilorin – The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has commissioned a newly constructed ward at the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, as part of his administration’s efforts to enhance healthcare services in the state.
The new facility, named Dr. Amuda Aluko Ward in honor of the late renowned physician and politician, is one of several developmental projects undertaken by the governor. It was officially commissioned by Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu (CON, OON), during her recent three-day visit to Kwara State.
The ward’s construction aligns with the state government’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and ensuring quality medical services for residents. The project joins a growing list of legacy initiatives aimed at strengthening the state’s healthcare sector.
