OZU-ABAM, AROCHUKWU LGA – Governor Alex Otti has officially flagged off the construction of a new Omenuko Bridge in Ozu-Abam, a crucial infrastructure project that will serve over 23 communities across Abam, Arochukwu, Ohafia, and neighboring areas.
The historic bridge, which has long been a vital link for thousands of residents, has deteriorated significantly, necessitating an urgent and modern replacement. Governor Otti reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering impactful projects that enhance connectivity and improve lives.
During the visit, the governor also inspected the ongoing construction of the Ozu Abam-Ndi Oji-Arochukwu Road, emphasizing his dedication to upgrading critical infrastructure across the state. Additionally, he announced the immediate approval of the rehabilitation of the Abam Ring Road and the establishment of a General Hospital to enhance healthcare access in the region.
Addressing the people of Abam, Governor Otti assured them that these developments mark the beginning of a larger transformation. He reiterated his administration’s resolve to ensure no community is left behind in the pursuit of a New Abia.
