In a bid to monitor ongoing developmental projects within the state capital and its surroundings, the Governor of Delta State, Sherrif Oborevwori, today conducted an inspection of several key infrastructure projects in Asaba.
The projects inspected included the Ogbeilo Road, the Ogbemata/Ogbogonogo flood control measures, and drainage projects. Additionally, the Governor evaluated the progress of road works on the Ogbe Ufo Road Phase 2 in Cable Point, Ameachi Agusi Road, and several adjoining streets. Other locations visited included Oluu Street off Infant Jesus, Burutu Drive in Infant Jesus, SSS Road, Odilison and nearby roads, Agbogun Close, Ngozi Odiaka Avenue, Anyafulu Street, Sly Davidson, Ezeobi Chukwu Street, and Aretha Table Water Street off NTA Road.
In his remarks, Governor Oborevwori emphasized his administration’s commitment to transforming Asaba into a model city, as it rapidly becomes the fastest-growing state capital in Nigeria. He reiterated that the government is focused on delivering long-lasting, high-quality projects aimed at benefiting Deltans and residents, ensuring they receive value for their investments in these initiatives for a brighter collective future.
