Yesterday, I had the honour of attending the 148th session of the National Economic Council (NEC), presided over by His Excellency, Sen. Kashim Shettima, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

A major highlight of the session was the launch of the Nutrition 774 Initiative, a transformative program designed to tackle malnutrition across all 774 local government areas in Nigeria. This initiative marks a significant step in the government’s commitment to improving public health and nutrition nationwide.
As we continue working towards sustainable economic growth, addressing malnutrition remains a crucial priority for ensuring a healthier and more productive population.
