In a significant move to combat the insecurity that has troubled Anambra State, Governor Chukwuma Soludo yesterday unveiled the AGUNECHEMBA security outfit and launched a bold initiative dubbed Operation Udo Ga-Chi. This comprehensive security strategy, aimed at restoring peace and stability, was hailed by stakeholders as a groundbreaking step toward making Anambra one of Nigeria’s most secure states.
Dr. Ben Nwankwo, a Member of the Board of Trustees of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), lauded the governor’s decisive action in a press statement, describing it as a turning point in the state’s fight against crime.
“Governor Soludo has sent a clear message: ‘It is finished’ for criminals who have terrorized our communities and attempted to disrupt the progress we’ve made,” Nwankwo said.
