Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Ndi Anambra and Nigerians nationwide on the celebration of Christmas 2024.
In a goodwill message shared by the Governor, he described the festive season as a time to reflect on God’s infinite love and the unyielding hope symbolized by the birth of Jesus Christ. Governor Soludo encouraged Ndi Anambra and Nigerians to show selfless love to one another and remain hopeful despite challenges. He also expressed his condolences to the families affected by the tragic Okija stampede, offering prayers for their strength during this difficult period.
Reassuring residents and visitors of their safety, the Governor noted that his administration has implemented comprehensive security measures to ensure a peaceful celebration across the state. He further highlighted significant improvements in road infrastructure and traffic management, designed to ease movement and travel during the festivities.
