
Owerri – Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has welcomed several lawmakers from Enugu State into the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing their decision as a commitment to the development of Igbo land.

Expressing his delight, Governor Uzodimma commended the lawmakers for recognizing the party’s progressive vision for the region. He noted that their alignment with the APC reflects a shared dedication to advancing the interests of the Igbo people.
The governor specifically applauded Rt. Hon. Barr. Sunday Cyriacus Umeha (Ezeagu/Udi Federal Constituency), Hon. Sam Chimaobi Atu (Enugu North/Enugu South Federal Constituency), Hon. Mark Chidi Obetta (Nsukka/Igboeze South Federal Constituency), Rt. Hon. Dennis Oguerinwa Amadi (Former Ezeagu/Udi Federal Constituency Representative), and Barr. Emeka Mamah for making what he called a bold and decisive step.
Uzodimma reaffirmed that the APC remains a welcoming platform for individuals dedicated to meaningful development. He expressed confidence that their inclusion would strengthen efforts to drive sustainable growth and transformation in Igbo land.
